O elenco da trama é formado por Bill Murray, Léa Seydoux, Tilda Swinton, Benicio Del Toro, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet, Adrien Brody, Lyna Khoudry e Owen Wilson.

The French Dispatch focará em três linhas narrativas diferentes, usando como plano de fundo um jornal americano baseado em Paris, após a Segunda Guerra Mundial. Um jornalista americano residente na França e cria a seu próprio jornal.
